Video for Lady of the Seven Suns

In September 2021 I gave a talk about my novel Lady of the Seven Suns: A Novel of the Woman Saint Francis Called Brother on Zoom, as part of the Central Wisconsin Book Festival. I very seldom do this sort of thing, but since this one is out there, I thought I’d post a link to it here, for anyone interested. You can follow this link to find it:

It’s mostly a chronicle of the research trip my husband and I took while I was writing Lady. So if you would like to tag along, to Assisi, Rome, and Cortona, by all means have a look. The video is about an hour and consists of me talking, doing some short readings from the book, and showing a variety of pictures, including the rather non-serious ones shown below:

Lady of the Seven Suns – actual cover plus gluten-free version
Pulp magazine cover explaining where I get my characters
Sheep eye – relevant research, courtesy of a writer friend who raises sheep in Tasmania (thanks, Prue!)
